Muldersdrift and Zandspruit affected by burst pipe

On Wednesday, September 22 the Northsider received information about water supply to Muldersdrift that was interrupted due to a burst Johannesburg Water pipe.

Johannesburg Water external communications officer, Eleanor Mavimbela confirmed that Johannesburg Water was working on the problem, but that they were not yet sure of the timeline of the repairs.

Updates on the progress will be available in due course, and water tankers are to be placed during this repair process.

The Depot Manager confirmed the burst had been attended to last night already, and that Zandspruit informal settlement was also affected.
