Guests were also surprised by a festive performance from local artist, Pieter Lerm.
Within beautiful green surroundings, a cool spring breeze and the pure sound of singing birds, Heritage Day ended on a high note for all who spent their evening at the Flowers, Seeds and Busy Bee’s nursery.
This lively Spring Cheese and Wine event welcomed around 50 people who got to enjoy lovely wine and snacks. The joyful evening was initiated by the nursery and its coffee shop, Oh My Beans with the aim of promoting local choir I Vangeli Lokuthula Gospel Group.
Coffee shop owner and organiser, Jameel Blume was proud to announce that this event was the group’s first-ever public performance.
“One of the nursery’s employees, Sam Moyo is part of the choir and we wanted to showcase the group’s talent. We were truly spoiled with their presence and beautiful sound,” Jameel said.
Guests were also surprised by a festive performance from local artist, Pieter Lerm.
“We are pleased to have had all these guests at our event. We trust they’ve enjoyed the food platters, music and the beautiful environment of the nursery. We’re looking forward to seeing them again,” he said.
Jameel and his team would like to thank Siba White for the catering, I Vangeli Lokuthula Gospel Group, Pieter Lerm and last but not least each and every person who supported them on the evening.
Flower, Seeds and Busy Bee’s and Oh My Beans are now looking forward to hosting their next event, ‘Garden of Lights’ which will take place during the Christmas period.
