Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital reviews visiting hours

Only one visitor per day per patient will be permitted from 15:00 to 15:30.

The safety and welfare of people in hospitals and health services during the Covid-19 pandemic require some restrictions on visitors.

Visiting hours at the Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital have been reviewed in accordance with the current regulations, and families are now able to visit their loved ones in the general wards and adult ICU in non-Covid-19 areas from 15:00 to 15:30 daily.

However, only one visitor per day per patient will be permitted.

Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital Marketing Manager, Celia de Koker confirmed to the Northsider that the visiting hours at the hospital had been reviewed; however the safety of patients, employees and doctors remains their highest priority.

For more information on the visiting times for the maternity and the paediatric wards, contact Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital on 011 796 6500 or email wilgeheuwel.communication@lifehealthcare.co.za.
