Picnic under the stars at the Botanical Garden
According to the organisers, the market will include famous home-grown crafts and tempting food stalls with fantastic foods.
A month after the successful Winter Wonderland, Event Ladies SA are bringing friends and family together again with the upcoming Picnic under the Stars at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden.
The event which is in the form of a night market will take place on November 5 and 6 and promises a fun, safe and interactive environment.
Community members will have the opportunity to spend some time walking through the big variety of stalls or join in many kiddies’ activities and entertainment such as sand art, fun rides, face painting, wood art, jumping castles and more while adults are kept busy too.

According to the organisers, the market will include famous home-grown crafts, tempting food stalls with fantastic foods – halaal, burgers, boerie rolls, pregos and many more – and drinks.
Members of the public are reminded that a no cooler box / no alcohol policy will apply as stipulated on the notice board in front of the entrance, and security will be appointed to enforce this policy.
Picnic baskets will be welcome and entrance to the garden will be from 16:00 onwards until 21:00.
