Roodepoort reservoirs stable but low

Johannesburg Water urges customers to reduce consumption.

Johannesburg Water recently released a statement pertaining to the water reservoirs in Regions B and C.

According to the statement, the Aeroton and Eagle Nest reservoirs have noted a downward trend in terms of capacity from this morning, November 17.

The following reservoirs/ towers are stable but at low leve
• Reservoirs and towers in the Soweto area
• Crosby reservoir
• Northcliff reservoir
• Brixton reservoir
• Reservoirs and towers in the Roodepoort area
• Yeoville reservoir

Reservoirs/ towers at critical levels:
• Hursthill reservoir
• Crown Gardens reservoir

Customers in the Forest Hill Tower supply area have no water or intermittent supply.

Johannesburg Water urges customers to reduce consumption in order to prevent further strain on the system. Reduced consumption will assist in the recovery period after the outage.
