Children can acquire great knowledge from a young age if given the opportunity. During these early years, children are naturally intrigued as they experience everything for the first time; they are constantly absorbing new information and learn by example quickly.

They are never too young to know that they can make a difference.
Both Little Ashford Florida Park and Florida Hills recently introduced the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign to some eager preschoolers.
On Thursday, November 25 they started the campaign off with a bang when the Florida Hills preschool held a mini protest to support the cause.
“At Little Ashford we strive to make a difference and be the difference. That’s why we decided to unite against gender-based violence. We got our parents and children involved by asking them to make posters to show that we say ‘NO!’,” said Deidre Allen, Little Ashford Florida Park principal.
On the first day of the campaign the Little Ashford Florida Park patio wall was already covered with powerful posters.

“Thursday marked the first day of the 16 Days of Activism. So we will keep our posters up for the next 16 days to raise awareness about gender-based violence. Together we must call on governments, organisations and people everywhere to speak out against violence,” Deidre concluded.
