The Roodepoort Community Policing Forum put in long hours to help their community

This festive season, we wish to thank our community role players

More than coordinators, they are an extension of the police ambit.

Thank you to Chairman Lehaiwa and his executive for helping to expand the reach of the police while also offering a bridge between communities and the authorities. Since the beginning of the state-imposed health restrictions, Chairman Lehaiwa and his executive, Louis Walker, Piet Grové and Andreas Oberlechner have pushed authorities to entrust them with as much responsibility as possible.

A thank you to James Clarke, who is in charge of communications, for always being rapid and forthright with information. Thank you to Youth Desk coordinator, Nicolaas Lekgau for always pressing Petrus and the executive to give the issues facing the youth as much attention as possible, and always presenting fresh ideas to engage the youth with. Thank you to everyone for their hard work in 2021 and may you all have a prosperous new year.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
