Nestled on Johan Road is the Honeydew Urban Market, a quaint network of small businesses and local stalls. Owner of the market, Michelle Hunter said the market became a reality when the Covid-19 pandemic struck and her travel agency took a hit.

β€œI started this in April last year and a lot of the stall owners worked in the travel industry themselves. Many of the items being sold here are either hand-made or refurbished by the people themselves.”

The market is open every day from Tuesday to Saturday between 9:00 and 15:00. Johan Fanner said he enjoys attending the market any chance he gets. β€œIt would be nice if it was open all the time. It is really a treat to be at a proper craft market. Everything being sold here is handmade or locally sourced.”
