Trinityhouse Little Falls swimmer represents Central Gauteng in Gqeberha
Gizelle is grateful to her coach and admits that she will be swimming in honour of Trinityhouse Little Falls in gratitude for all the support throughout her primary school journey.
Trinityhouse Little Falls Preparatory Head Girl, Gizelle Maritz is currently in Gqeberha where she is representing Central Gauteng Aquatics at the South African Junior National swimming championships.
Gizelle has been in Gqeberha since Sunday, April 3 ahead of the championships to become accustomed to the climate and conditions.
She is currently busy with some muscle recovery and final preparation as her races will commence on Wednesday through to Monday.
According to Gizelle’s coach Peter Williams she is strong, ready and has prepared as well as she could.

The swimming sensation did her warm-ups in India and Seychelles at the Nationals, including a few other countries, and made some new friends along the way.
Action at the Newton Park Swimming Pool in Gqeberha will get underway on the morning of Wednesday, April 6 and run until Monday, April 11.
Places in the teams to represent South Africa at the World Championships and Commonwealth Games will be on the line. Leading the charge will be Olympic champion and world record-holder Tatjana Schoenmaker who will be looking to defend the double gold she won at the last Commonwealth Games in 2018.
Also lining up in Gqeberha will be four-time Olympic medallist Chad le Clos, who is battling his way back from illness – having spent time in hospital earlier in the year with bronchitis.
