Baskets full of egg-citement

With the help of the hippity hoppity Easter bunny, the passionate team had managed to keep the special Easter spirit alive.

The Child Welfare South Africa Roodepoort (CWSAR) team recently visited the Ikhwezi Outreach Centre in Tshepisong with baskets full of egg-citement.

Thanks to the dedicated CWSAR team, at least 150 less-fortunate children experienced Easter in its full, warm and fluffy glory on Saturday, April 9.

The Easter Bunny not only spread some cheer and joy, but also dished out some well-deserved Easter eggs, sweets, hot dogs, snacks and cold drinks as well as some warm blankets for the approaching winter chill.

“Our aim was to make it a day to remember for the little ones. We are happy to announce that our visit was well received and that the little ones had great fun during the special event,” CWSAR director Estelle Odendaal said.

With the help of the hippity hoppity Easter bunny, the passionate team had managed to keep the special Easter spirit alive by putting a smile on every little face in attendance.

“We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the event, including everyone who donated a sweet and a snack, as well as those who came with us on the day to celebrate the special get-together,” Estelle concluded.
