NPR hosts morning of fun and exploration
"We are committed to providing more opportunities for parents to participate and make special memories with their children." — Nova Pioneer Ruimsig
On Friday, June 10, the Nova Pioneer Ruimsig Grade 1 parents joined their children in class for a morning of fun and exploration.

Friday is dedicated to Coding, Science and Art Exploration as part of their learning model at Nova Pioneer. NPR invited their Grade 1 parents to join them and partner with their children for the morning. “We are committed to providing more opportunities for parents to participate and make special memories with their children,” explained Carla Hercules.

Parents could code alongside their children, paint a picture for art, and participate in a science experiential activity. Parents even took part in a few brain-break activities, such as dancing. The learners loved having their parents join them in class in the morning.

“We finished the morning by serving a light breakfast to the parents. Parents expressed their appreciation for being able to participate in their children’s daily activities. They were also pleased with their children’s academic progress and achievements,” concluded Carla.
