Mejeri Market around the corner

Mejeri is looking forward to hosting their first-ever market day on Saturday, August 6.

The fun-filled event is expected to start at 08:00 at Mejeri, which is located at 19 Nickel Street, Technikon. Market-goers can look forward to some good food as well as several stalls where jewellery, arts, crafts, pet products and baked goods, to name just a few, will be sold.

There will be some entertainment for the little ones in the form of a jumping castle and face painting.

Mejeri is a small business in Roodepoort that endeavours to give outstanding service and products to their customers.

“Over the past few years the pandemic has forced businesses and individuals to go outside their own comfort zone, find business and make an income. These are tough times and we, as a team have come to realise that we need to help where we can,” market founder and organiser, Adele Close said.

“That’s why we decided to host a market day that will enable local small and medium businesses to showcase their wares and advertise their businesses. We support buying local and in this we hope to introduce more of our own community’s products to others.”
