Anglo-American Ambassadors team visits Queen Butterfly Foundation

The Anglo-American Ambassadors team paid a visit to Queen Butterfly Foundation on February 15. The purpose of the visit was to share new stimulation ‘toys’, gift packets for the children, and the Queen Butterfly team’s first official First Aid Training Certificates.

“We are immensely grateful for the opportunity that we have been afforded by being Anglo-American Ambassadors – the first aid training is something we have wanted to pursue since the inception of Queen Butterfly,” explained Palesa Mofokeng, founder of Queen Butterfly Foundation.

Some of the skills development and stimulation tools they have received include touch-sensory buttons that can be pre-recorded to play a message when the children push down on it – these are also colour coded so that each colour can represent a different message.

They also received a fun light sensory exploration ‘box’ that contains LED colour-changing lights, this lets the children go into the dark box and experience the different lights and textures in the box.
