Numbers called, good times had: DCF bingo night delivers

From 'Legs Eleven' to 'Lucky Seven', DCF's bingo night had everyone buzzing!

The Discovery Community Forum (DCF) held a successful Bingo night at the First Discovery Scout Hall in Bird Street on April 5.

The hall was packed with well over 100 residents showing up to join in the fun.

According to DCF chairperson Justin Bezuidenhout, the high turnout was a welcome surprise.

“Of course, as DCF, we appreciate the support we are getting from our community,” he says, adding that while the majority of residents pre-booked their tickets, they had quite a few walk-ins.

“Luckily, our team of expert vetkoek-and-filling makers had made more than enough for everyone, and between the delicious food and the exciting Bingo games, the evening was a resounding success.”
