Bell of Hope charity ride back again

The mental health awareness ride will take place on Sunday, May 25 at Bidon Bistro.

Ebenezer Psychiatric Home is proud to announce that they will be once again hosting their well-known Bell of Hope Charity Ride, but this time at a new location, Bidon Bistro, with an exciting new route for the cyclists.

The ride will take place on Sunday, May 25, in support of Ebenezer, which is a non-profit organisation taking care of fully functional adults suffering from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

They depend on donations, assistance from the community, and the corporate sector to keep the home open and functional.

“The Bell of Hope is our long-standing road cycle event, and we host it every year. The proceeds of this event go towards sustaining the house,” said Kerry von Buddenbrock.

The times, distances, and registration fees are as follows:

• 07:00 for 50km at R250 per cyclist/ R300 on the day
• 07:15 for 15km at R150 per cyclist/ R170 on the day
