The event featured two race options: An 8km route for seasoned runners/ walkers and a 5km route for families and beginners. Participants of all ages came together, families with young children and even furry friends joined in the fun, all united by a common goal – to support a worthy cause while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Cradle of Humankind.

“It was a very successful day and we are very thankful to all our participants for making this event super,” says Charmaine Hennings of the home.
“It was a good first attempt, and the camaraderie on the road between runners, cyclists and motorists was wonderful. Notably, this year’s event saw a significant increase in participation, with 170 runners and walkers taking part, compared to last year’s 35 participants,” she adds.
