Springboks vs England served with a bowl of biltong soup

What you will need:
• 100g unsalted butter
• 1 tsp fresh crushed garlic
• 3 tbsp flour
• ½ tsp nutmeg
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 1 cup chicken stock
• 3 cups milk
• ½ cup fresh cream
• ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
• 100g biltong
• 2 tsp sherry (optional)
• Thin biltong slices for garnish
• ½ cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
How to make this rich and creamy soup:
• Melt the butter over medium heat in a medium saucepan.
• Sauté the garlic in the butter for 1 minute. Sprinkle in the flour, nutmeg and black pepper, and stir to form a paste.
• Add the stock, milk and fresh cream. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to low.
• Stir in the blue cheese and cheddar until melted, then remove from heat.
• Stir in the biltong and add the sherry just before serving.
• Garnish with biltong slices.
