Honeydew police on high alert after bizarre shooting incident
Police are on the lookout for the four men who are allegedly involved in the shooting on 14th Avenue in Constantia Kloof.
The Honeydew Police Station is currently probing a disturbing case of attempted murder after a man was shot on Sunday, December 8.
The incident unfolded when the victim, driving toward the N1 North on 14th Avenue, was accosted by about four men in an unknown silver vehicle. Eyewitnesses suggest that the suspects opened fire on the victim before fleeing the scene, leaving behind a trail of chaos and uncertainty.
Gauteng Police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi explained that the motive behind the shooting remains unclear, fuelling police investigations as they work to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“We urge anyone with information to come forward, as this will assist us with the investigation and bringing the perpetrators to justice,” Nevhuhulwi said.
