Missing Witpoortjie woman has been found

At this stage circumstances that led to Debbie being found are still not clear.

Thirty-eight-year-old Debbie Chauke who went missing after her sister last saw her on Monday, November 21 at about 9am at their home in Dromedaris Street in Witpoortjie has been found.

Missing Children South Africa confirmed on Thursday, November 23 that Chauke has been found safe and thanked Roodepoort Police Station’s Warrant Officer Teme and everyone who assisted.

The Record contacted Roodepoort Police Station’s Communication Officer Captain Juanita-Anne Yorke for comment but at the time of publishing there was still no reply.

At this stage circumstances that led to Debbie being found and the details around her disappearance are still not clear.

Members of the community with information that could assist in finding missing persons are urged to continue assisting the police and families.
