Panorama Primary School’s little animal activists help dogs and cats in need

Panorama Primary School's Community Council is a group of Grade 7s serving through regular upliftment projects.

Panorama Primary School learners lent a hand to animals in need.

Grade 7 learners from the school’s Community Council handed off a donation to the Animal Anti-Cruelty League on May 12. The donation consisted of a bakkie full of canned dog and cat food, bags of animal chow, and beds and blankets to help with the coming cold months.

All donated items came from the school’s staff and learners and the initiative was coordinated by the Community Council learners. Each term the young humanitarians pick one community upliftment project to focus their energies on.

The school’s council is made up of grade 7 learners who have been hand-picked due to their exuding the values, responsibility, and sense of duty needed to serve a greater cause.
