Laerskool Helderkruin hosts their second art competition
This is the second art competition since its inception which saw learners from Helderkruin, Roodekrans, Kenmare, and Bryanston showcasing their creativity.
Laerskool Helderkruin held an art competition on July 29 at the school which saw 108 entries from learners from four different schools. The learners participated by showcasing their creativity through song, dance, and painting.

The school hosted its second art competition this year, and this created a platform for Grade Six and Seven learners to explore cultural opportunities such as the school choir, which, according to Linda Coulson, who is part of the organising committee, has done many performances and has done well in this year’s competition.

Schools that participated were Laerskool Helderkruin, Laerskool Roodekrans, Laerskool Kenmare and Bryanston Parallel Medium.
Miss Botes, with the help of Miss Coulson, were the driving force behind the competition and said that between all the sporting activities, this year’s participants had done extremely well.
Participants were awarded different prizes after the competition.
