Bingo night a huge success
Discovery residents enjoyed a fun-filled evening at the Discovery Community Forum Bingo night.
The Discovery Community Forum (DCF) held a lively Bingo evening on Saturday, April 27, at the Bird Street Scout Hall in Discovery.
The event was eagerly awaited and well attended by residents, who came together to enjoy an evening of fun while supporting the good work of the DCF.
According to DCF committee member Isabel Gomes, proceeds from the event will be split between the projects of the organisation and the charities that it supports.
The event consisted of four rounds of Bingo. Competition was fierce, with a few overeager contestants jumping the gun during the evening.
Various cash prizes were given out during the evening, including a raffle, won by resident Roxanne Marsh.
Participants were treated to a wonderful evening of entertainment and a delicious meal.
