The team focused their efforts on the Honeydew Police Station, where they tackled various maintenance tasks that needed attention. From fixing non-functioning lights to replacing broken windows and reattaching kick plates, the team worked tirelessly to make a positive impact.

Their efforts brought joy and appreciation to the station members, and it was a heartwarming experience for all involved as well as the staff at the police station.

Michael Steyn, the public relations officer of the Honeydew CPF, told the Roodepoort Northsider that the station is well known for its friendly and welcoming service.

“This was such a kind gesture because it shows how we as a community can help uplift one another. A huge thank you to the residents association for their assistance with maintenance issues at our station. The efforts have made a significant impact,” Steyn added.
