The market offered a lot of donkey charm.

The Rest Ur Ass Donkey Sanctuary is not just a haven for rescued donkeys; it also hosts a lively monthly market that attracts visitors from all over. This vibrant event combines shopping, delicious food and the charm of the sanctuary’s beloved donkeys, creating a special community experience.

Upon arrival at the market, the visitors were welcomed by buzzing live music and friendly chats from families and friends walking around the different stalls. As you walk through the stalls, the beautiful crafts, toys, skincare lotions, dog beds and kitchenware among others, capture your eyes with their uniqueness. Each purchase made was not just a treat for the shoppers; it helped support the creators and the sanctuary’s mission.

One of the highlights of the market was the diverse food offerings. Local food vendors set up stalls serving everything from freshly baked goods and artisanal cheeses to gourmet street food and organic produce. Visitors enjoyed a leisurely meal while soaking in the tranquil surroundings, with the donkeys occasionally making a guest appearance, hoping for a snack or two.
