Discworld Day brings characters to life
Alter Egos hosted their annual Discworld Day filled with colourful and creative costumes.
Rusty Hook turned into a fantasy realm of wonder as residents gathered for the Discworld Day on November 2.
Discworld Day is a festival that celebrates the works of English author Sir Terry Pratchett and his fictional world of luminous characters. Being one of their biggest events, Rusty Hook’s welcoming atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for colourful and creative costumes, channelling iconic characters from the Discworld universe.
Attendees showcase their imagination, donning intricate attire inspired by their favourite characters, such as Rincewind, the Grim Reaper, witches and Cohen the Barbarian.
Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed lively discussions, live music, and delicious food to sink their teeth into, with additional themed activities such as archery, staring contest, and the best-dressed competition.
