Elderly home hosts Xmas market
Community members gather at Floroma for a fun-filled Xmas market.
Floroma Old Age Home held a Christmas Morning Market on November 9, and despite the rainy weather, it was a huge success.
Zettie van Biljon’s lively performance provided the perfect backdrop as patrons browsed through affordable Christmas gifts and savoury sweet treats from various food stalls.
According to Youlanda Fouche, a social worker at the home, the event brought together families, residents, donors, and community members for a fun-filled morning of music, shopping, and entertainment.
“The event created a warm and cosy atmosphere. Our countdown to Christmas Day has begun. Our warmest gratitude to all donors, vendors, families of our residents, and members of the community who supported us. See you at our next market at Easter 2025,” she said.
