Silverstar sparkles with holiday fun
With the Christmas Market running daily until December 24 and the 90’s Mania show lighting up the Barnyard stage, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this festive season at Silverstar.
Silverstar offered a truly magical experience on Saturday, November 30 blending festive cheer, dazzling lights and nostalgic tunes into one unforgettable evening.
The Christmas Market on The Square, the stunning light display and the 90’s Mania show at the Silverstar Barnyard created the perfect atmosphere for holiday fun.
The Christmas Market, open daily until December 24, greeted visitors with a festive wonderland. With over a month to enjoy, the market is a must-see, featuring handcrafted gifts, delicious seasonal treats, and a variety of artisanal goods. Visitors can enjoy the market from 10:00 to 21:00, with free entry for all.
One marketgoer Cheryl Thompson, shared, “This market captures the spirit of Christmas. It’s the perfect place to find unique gifts and enjoy the atmosphere.”
As the day turned into night, the light display transformed Silverstar into a glowing holiday paradise. Twinkling lights illuminated The Square, creating a magical backdrop for photos. The stunning display delighted families and couples alike, drawing admiration from all who passed through.
“The lights are absolutely beautiful – truly a sight to behold. Silverstar knows how to make the season shine,” remarked resident Johan Visser.
The evening culminated in the 90’s Mania show at Barnyard, a vibrant tribute to the best music of the 1990s. The audience was transported back in time with energetic performances of hits from rock and pop divas like Shania Twain, Roxette, Celine Dion, and Gloria Estefan to male rock stars such as Lenny Kravitz, Ricky Martin, Robbie Williams and many more. Attendees couldn’t help but sing along, dance and relive the unforgettable tunes of their youth.
