Festive cheer arrives at Just in Time Baby Sanctuary

Ridgevale Primary School blesses Just in Time Baby Sanctuary with groceries and Christmas gifts from Santa Claus.

The Just in Time Baby Sanctuary was treated to a special visit from Santa Claus, bringing joy and gifts to the youngsters – courtesy of the Ridgevale Primary School committee.

The sanctuary also received a generous haul of groceries from the school, ensuring that the children have a wonderful Christmas season.

Located on 70 Kliprand Street, the sanctuary not only takes care of foster children but also has a baby-saver option that offers help to expecting women if they are faced with difficult circumstances.

According to Adell Chetty, the co-ordinator of the community council at Ridgevale Primary, they wanted to make the children feel special and loved.

“As a committee, we thought of ways to end this year. What better way than to bring smiles and joy to kids who have been fostered and placed in a loving environment?

“We strongly believed in giving back to the community and instilling values such as compassion, kindness, sharing, and generosity in our learners at the school.

“We have used money raised from Civvies Day to make this initiative possible. Without our learners and parents, this would not have been a success,” she says.

Georginia Caetano, manager of the Sanctuary, says they are extremely grateful for the support they’ve received from the school.

“The children were very much spoiled with their Christmas gifts, and we are very appreciative of this effort,” she says.
