Despite the gloomy weather, the event saw riders of all ages and experience levels donning their brightest colours, with many opting for festive face painting to add to the Easter cheer. The mounted egg hunt was a true family affair, with parents and siblings joining their horse-loving family members for an afternoon of adventure.

“From seasoned riders to first-timers, all the learners had a blast exploring the grounds and tracking down hidden eggs. The event’s atmosphere ensured that all participants, regardless of experience level, felt welcome and supported,” said stable manager Martinique van der Westhuizen.

The highlight of the event was the riders’ determination to find every last egg while having a good laugh with their fellow teammates.

The centre’s Easter celebration was a wonderful way to spend time with family and friends while enjoying the beautiful outdoors and the company of horses.
