Roodepoort police’s phone lines upgraded

Roodepoort police have announced that their telephone lines are now once again working as they should be.

According to Colonel Clive de Freitas, some of the station’s telephone lines were non-operational for a time due to cable theft.

“A new system was installed, but it was incompatible with our switchboards, which meant that we only had one direct line for a time.

“I am pleased to announce that this has now been repaired, and the community should have no trouble getting through to the police station.”

The telephone numbers are:

• Customer Service Centre – 011 279 6401
• Operations Room: – 011 279 6402
