Celebrating 30 years of faithful service

Her legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.

The King’s School West Rand bids a heartfelt farewell to teacher Brenda Mostert, who retires after an extraordinary 30 years of service. Her remarkable career has left an enduring legacy in the hearts of learners, colleagues and families alike.

Since joining the school three decades ago, Brenda has shown exceptional dedication to education. Her genuine love for her learners, coupled with her passion for teaching, has profoundly impacted generations of learners.

Beyond the classroom, she has been a constant source of encouragement and guidance, embodying the spirit of a servant leader.

A cornerstone of the school community, Brenda has also been a faithful prayer warrior, covering the institution in prayer for many years. Her devotion to the spiritual well-being of the school reflects her deep commitment to her faith.

In reflecting on Brenda’s retirement, the words from Matthew 25:21 (NIV) came to the principal’s personal assistant Debbie Kotzé’s mind, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”

This verse, according to Debbie perfectly captures the essence of her journey at The King’s School West Rand, where her steadfast faithfulness and servant-hearted leadership have inspired all who have crossed her path.

Debbie further went on to share her gratitude for Brenda’s wisdom, care, and tireless efforts.

“Brenda has been more than a teacher; she has been a mentor, a guide, and a prayer warrior. Her contributions to our community are immeasurable, and she will be greatly missed,” she expressed. As Brenda steps into retirement, the school extends its prayers for God’s richest blessings and guidance in her new chapter of life.
