New friends and new adventures for Trinityhouse Gr 1s

Trinityhouse Little Falls Grade Ones start their first day of school with big smiles.

Tears and excitement were the highlights at Trinityhouse Little Falls Preparatory as parents dropped their little ones at school for their first day as Grade Ones on January 15.

The learners were more than excited to leave the ‘nest’ and step into their classroom, where they met their new friends and teachers. Karen Cammell of the school expressed her joy seeing the sparkle in the Grade One’s eyes as they stood in the quad waiting to be placed in their classrooms.

“I was quite surprised to see the majority of learners who were happy to start their first day, instead of seeing the usual gripping of their parents with tears and anxiety. The teachers are always so happy to have a new group to teach, and we are delighted that parents have entrusted us with such a responsibility.

“I know this will be a great year for them because on the first day, the Grade Ones made their first friends, and when it was snack time, they sat together and bonded,” she said.
