District Director Lehlohonolo Ramokhoase gave the opening speech, breaking down an impressive 2024 in stats.
“We are not bragging, but out of the 81 districts across the country, Johannesburg West received first place for the second consecutive year. Our district had about 6 000 matriculants sitting for exams, about 4 000 received bachelors, 1 000 received diploma pass, 400 higher certificates and only 188 failed,” Romakhoase said.

“This is a massive feat for our district and through working together we are hoping to obtain 100% for upcoming matrics.”

Parents and learners were overjoyed as they received their awards on stage.
