Nova Pioneer hosts High Tea for moms
The event provided the mothers an opportunity to connect, share, and celebrate the wonders of motherhood.
Nova Pioneer Ruimsig celebrated the incredible women in its school community with a heartwarming High Tea on May 30 in honour of Mother’s Day. The event brought together mothers of preschool learners for an afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, and celebration.

The day began on a colourful note as children and their moms teamed up for a creative art activity, painting cherished moments together. Afterwards, parents were guided to a beautifully decorated venue – a vision in pink with elegant touches – where the real celebration kicked off.
Delicious snacks and drinks were served as music set the tone for a joyful and relaxed atmosphere. There were smiles all around as mothers sang along to familiar tunes, catching up with one another and soaking up the festive spirit.

School principal Carla Hercules warmly welcomed the guests, sharing some of her favourite quotes by Coco Chanel. Her message celebrated the strength and grace of women, and the pivotal roles they play not just in their families, but in the wider community too.
From there, the energy rose with interactive games and light-hearted quizzes centred around motherhood. Laughter echoed through the room as moms danced, competed in teams during a celebrity quiz challenge, and showed off their quick thinking. Prizes were handed out to the winners, adding an extra dose of fun and excitement.

As the event drew to a close, it was clear that the High Tea had left a lasting impression. The mothers walked away feeling appreciated and uplifted – a beautiful reminder of their value, resilience, and the joy of being celebrated.
