Derby day delight at Trinityhouse

A colourful race, a roaring crowd, and a perfect way to end the school year.

With the gloomy weather being the talk of the town, it did not stop Trinityhouse Little Falls from enjoying their last few days of school with a fun-filled soap box derby on Friday, November 21.

Each classroom had its own colourful and creative theme to stand out. As they gathered at the sports field, their soapbox cars were lined up, while the excitement on their faces was felt as they sang chants along the way. Parents and teachers filled the sidelines with their phone cameras out, waiting to capture the moment, cheering loudly as the first racers settled into their seats.

As the siren went off, the teams dashed out, gathering speed as the crowd erupted. Laughter, squeals and applause filled the air as each team was determined to lead the race. It was clear during the race that everyone wanted to join because even the teachers competed against one another, bringing additional fun to the derby.
