Agape Christian School Celebrates Unity and School Spirit at Interhouse Swimming Gala.

On Friday, January 23, Agape Christian School hosted its interhouse swimming gala at the school’s premises, highlighting its commitment to faith, strong values and community.

According to social media manager Tarryn Elaine, the gala, as one of the first major events on the school calendar, plays an important role in uniting learners across different grades at the start of the year.

Events such as the interhouse swimming gala help learners connect early in the year and feel part of something bigger than themselves. It also sets a positive tone and reinforces the message that everyone belongs.

The event brought together learners from all houses, educators and families for a lively day that celebrated participation, teamwork and school pride.

Throughout the day, the atmosphere was energetic and supportive, with strong house spirit visible both in and out of the pool. Learners proudly represented their houses while classmates cheered them on from the stands.

The focus was not only on winning races, but also on encouraging one another, showing sportsmanship and enjoying the day together as a school community.

Parents also noted the strong sense of unity and inclusion, while participants displayed competitive energy throughout the event.

The positive response from learners, staff and parents highlighted the value of organised school activities. The energy, unity and pride displayed throughout the day reflected the heart of Agape Christian School.

The gala also showed that school events do not need to be large-scale to be impactful. When learners feel supported and united, the results speak for themselves.
