Team Rage takes on the SA championships

Three Team Rage Kickboxing students took gold home.

 

Three kickboxers from Team Rage Kickboxing Club took part in this year’s South African National Championships and made their team proud.

Nicole le Roux, Dyllan Opperman and Brandon Lee Friedlander took part in the National Championships, which were held in Oudtshoorn, and not only bagged a handful of medals, but were also selected to represent their country in the various national teams.

Dyllan and Nicole won two gold medals each during the championships, and were selected for the Junior National Team. Brandon Lee won a silver medal and was selected for the Junior Presidential team.

Darin Opperman, the head coach at Team Rage, won a silver medal at the championships and was selected as part of the Presidential team. He was also recently appointed as the Chairman of the Gauteng Kickboxing Association.
