Magaliesburg currently on top of the SAPS West Rand Soccer League
Fans will be anticipating the Roodepoort derby between SWGC who are on position seven on the log and Roodepoort SAPS who sit at position four as the two sides will want to move up the standings.
As the SAPS West Rand Soccer League continues, the law enforcers from Magaliesburg find themselves sitting comfortably on top of the log standings as they look to shake off City of Johannesburg EMS who are also tied at 14 points with a game in hand.
EMS claimed a 2–0 victory over Honeydew SAPS in their last league match while Magaliesburg SAPS beat South West Gauteng College (SWGC) in Roodepoort.

Carletonville SAPS have also been impressive since the league kicked off in March as they are placed in 3rd position tied with Magaliesburg and EMS.
League fixtures got underway with the teams deciding that the season would kick off with a festival format, where most of the teams played at the Kagiso Sports Complex.
The latest communication from the league is that all games unless otherwise arranged should start exactly at 16:30 due to fading light in stadiums that don’t have lights, or games will be regarded as a workover for the team that’s on time.
The following fixtures scheduled will see Kagiso SAPS fighting it out with Carletonville SAPS, while EMS takes on Westonaria SAPS at the Kagiso Sports Complex.

Honeydew SAPS will be hosting Unisa in Cosmo City as they embark on their quest to improve their current position on the log after suffering a series of uncharacteristic defeats.
Fans will be anticipating the Roodepoort derby between SWGC who are on position seven on the log and Roodepoort SAPS who sit at position four as the two sides will want to move up the standings.
Another fixture that promises fireworks will be the clash between Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) and the Department of Agriculture that will be played at the Kagiso Sports Complex.
