Christmas carols under the stars

Event Ladies SA will be hosting their fifth annual Christmas Carols Under The Stars event on Friday 29 November and Saturday 30 November at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden in Roodepoort.

This year will see a constant flow of performers on stage, singing your favourite Christmas carols and songs, as well as their favourites, adding their own zest to provide a unique Christmas carols experience.

Managing Director of Event Ladies SA, Michele van Zyl said, “Due to the success of our previous Christmas carols events, we are proud to bring you our fifth one. Don’t miss out on this once-a-year event where you and your family can relax, take in the beauty of the Garden and enjoy the festive cheer.”

The event promises a complete transformation of the Garden. Upon entering, the community will be greeted by festive Christmas melodies and Father Christmas.

A Christmas market where you can get gifts shopping out the way and food stalls where you can fill your stomach or quench your thirst are among the attractions.

A Kiddies Programme with Stokkel Faans will keep the children entertained while event MC Dave Kruger will keep everyone else on their feet as he introduces performers Ansune Havenga, AE van Wyk, Johan Anker, I Am Second Band and IN FAITH Band.

Michele said, “Gates will open at 4pm and the main show starts at 7pm. Please note that this is a very popular event. To ensure that you do not miss out and to avoid queues, we recommend purchasing your tickets beforehand. Tickets will be on sale at the door; however, online sales will take preference.”
