St Teresa’s school learner is ecstatic about life post high school

Farhah Kolabhai said being head girl added colour to her high school career.

St Teresa‘s School head girl Farhah Kolabhai reflects on her leadership role and the effect of the past two years.

Kolabhai noted that 2022 was challenging but full of hope.

“The positive impact that the pandemic brought, led us to shift our value systems and recognise the importance of human connection. It was this realisation that steered the class of 2022.”

She added the class of 2022 was fiercely dedicated to rebuilding and restoring the sisterhood connection which was lost due to the pandemic.

The head girl explained that being head allowed her to help her peers.

“I have had the honour of watching every one of our matrics flourish within themselves and within their role. I watched as we all went from being slightly unsure of our decisions to taking everything in our stride”

The 18-year-old added that although she was unsure what she would study in tertiary, St Teresa prepared her for life’s challenges throughout her schooling career.

She concluded, “I want to live a life without regrets and ‘what ifs’. More so, I want to help others on my journey of discovering what life means to me. The unfaltering resilience and utter sincerity of the Class of 2022 has proven that all our paths, though different, will blossom into greatness.”
