Parktown Boy Maxime Chaumaton finishes 28th at the World Cross Country Championships

PARKTOWN – Maxime finishes in the top 30 at IAAF World Championships in Denmark.


Parktown Boys High School congratulates Maxime Chaumeton on finishing 28th overall in the U20 Men’s Division of the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus, Denmark.

He completed the 8km event in a time of 00:26:18. Marketing coordinator at the school Caroline Williams said, “It should be noted that this means that Maxime is in fact in the top 30 best cross country runners globally. What an incredible achievement for this young, dedicated sportsman. Maxime has made a great impact on this sport, especially here at Parktown. We know he has a bright future ahead.”
