Parktown High School for Girls raises funds through a fun day
Parents Association help Parktown High School for Girls raise funds by hosting a fun day for the Parkview community.
The Parkview community showed up in droves at the Parktown High School for Girls fun day on February 23.

Music, games, and vendors filled the school driveway to make the fun day a success while raising funds.
Parktown High School for Girls’ marketing and communications officer Kerry Liss said every year the Parents Association raises funds for something the learners need for the year. “This year the money will go towards building a new uniform and stationery shop on the property. We have a uniform shop that is in a container on the property. All our Grade 8s and new learners buy their uniforms directly from us, to save costs.”
The fundraisers are made up of all the classes from grades 8–12.
