Origins Centre Family Day

Some of the activities and exhibits for the families to enjoy includes:

 

  • A hands on learning experience. Children will love being able to handle replica hominid skulls that are tucked away, waiting to be discovered.
  • The Kitching Collection from Wits Paleosciences. This is a collection of dinosaurs and early mammals which are guaranteed to stimulate the imagination. See the world’s first dinosaur egg and life size dinosaur models.
  • We will be hosting and archaeological dig and art activities which will entertain and educate children of all ages. They will have the chance to interact with archeologists and learn more about this interesting career.
