ROSEBANK – We asked matrics to share their advice with future learners.

The Rosebank Killarney Gazette asked the matric Class of 2018 to highlight their achievements and then share their plans for the coming academic year. Here’s what they had to say …

AALIYAH BULBULIA: I got five distinctions and I will be studying chartered accounting this year. My advice to the current Grade 12s is don’t be afraid to cry, life gets better, it’s worth it.
BRITNEY GOLIATH: I got three distinctions and I will be studying psychology at UCT. My advice to the current Grade 12s is make all your notes in advance and speak to your teachers.
KIRSTEN BOYCE: I got six distinctions and I will be studying occupational therapy in 2019.
MADINA MOTHUPI: I got two distinctions and I am thinking about pursuing a BA in environmental studies. My advice to the Class of 2019 is study at least one month in advance and do past papers.
ROBYN WOLMARANS: I got seven distinctions and I will be studying architecture at the University of Pretoria. My advice is that persistance is key and don’t ever give up.
YUVISHKA HARRYPRASADH: I got seven distinctions and I will be studying medicine in 2019.
