A weekend of bowls and fun at Wanderers

ILLOVO – People of all ages were welcome to a weekend of fun and bowling at the Wanderers Club.

Bowling fanatics were excited to be part of the Wanderers Pantum Challenge Bowls Tournament held for two days at the Wanderers Club. The games were held on 29 and 30 June.

Vice-chairperson of the Wanderers Bowls Club, Janis Fluxman said the bowlers consisted of various age groups and were competing for great prices. “The challenge was held this year for the first time and Pantum (an international company which develops, manufactures and sells laser printers and toner cartridges) was one of our sponsors and Wanderers organised the competition. We had people from four different clubs. It was just something different that hasn’t been done before and was enjoyed by everyone.”
