NORWOOD - Police are looking for three suspects involved in a fraudulent syndicate, where they allegedly con businesses out of their stock.

Norwood police spokesperson Nonzwakazi Tsoanyane said the suspects would deliver goods to a store and return later claiming they had brought the wrong stock to the store. They would take back the stock, load it in their Nissan 1400 van and never return.
Tsoanyane said the suspects robbed a cosmetics store in Melrose Arch of stock to the value of R300 000. “They delivered stock and returned a bit later wearing reflector jackets,” she said. “They took the stock and said they would bring the right stock to the store.”
Tsoanyane said businesses should be alert and vigilant at all times. She appealed to community members who might have information that could lead to arrests, to come forward.
