Cool Inc Tattoo Expo coming soon
Breaking away from the mould of the City of Gold, the fifth annual Cool Inc Tattoo Expo will have the Capital city begging for more.
According to publicist Rachelle Crous the expo will take place at the Voortrekker Monument heritage site on 16 September due to the old Joburg venue becoming too small for the booming expo.
But Jozi is not forgotten as Melville-based body artist group Pandeo is one of the drawcards of the expo, with their jaw dropping, tear inducing suspension shows.
Great bands are also visiting the expo, with Fokofpolisiekar currently on their Bosekringloop tour stopping by.
The entertainment line-up includes:
- Friday: Yo Grapes, We Are Charlie, December Streets and Desmond and the Tutus.
- Saturday: Naming James, Martin Rocka and the Sick Shop, The Black Cat Bones and Fokofpolisiekar.
- Sunday: Michael Lesar, Slax and DJ Legend.
Foofpolisiekar is making another stop in Jozi later in September when they visit The Barnyard Theatre Cresta on 21 September.
Their Bosekringloop tour celebrates the 10-year anniversary of their album Lugsteuring, the album that cemented the band’s status as one of the biggest selling Afrikaans rock acts.
