UPDATE: Pick ‘n Pay staff member’s arm cut with meat cutting machine

NORWOOD - A woman working with a machine used to cut meat at a Pick 'n Pay in Norwood Mall has had her arm cut.

UPDATE: 4pm – According to our journalist at the scene, the management of the local Pick ‘n Pay at the Norwood Mall have refused to comment regarding the incident that took place earlier this afternoon.

Business at the store has resumed as usual. According to people at the scene, it is believed that the victim is a woman and her arm was totally cut off.

Other staff members at the store told our journalist that the scene was extremely gruesome with lots of blood everywhere.

Initial report: 09 September 2014, 15:03pm – According to reports, a staff member from Pick ‘n Pay at the Norwood Mall had his arm cut while working with machinery used to cut meat.

It is believed that the worker is being airlifted to a hospital.
