Driver takes a nap

The Parkhurst resident who asked not be named, said the motorist almost drove into his home. “Builders who were on the street asked him what he was doing, [then] he drove into the park on 5th Avenue, vomited and fell asleep outside his car,” said the resident.

The resident said he called paramedics and police who arrived on the scene to assess the situation and to awaken the motorist.

“He must be in his late 20s or early 30s. I think he had a problem and drank too much,” said the resident.

The driver was photographed, asleep, next to his car with the door wide open, the resident said police called the motorist’s parents to avoid him driving in the condition he was in.
