UPDATE: Attempted murder outside The Star building – motive revealed
JOBURG - Since the attack on Damian Warner, an employee of The Star, colleagues have spoken out about the motives of the attack.
It has been reported by The Times that although Independent Media chief of staff Zenariah Barends is not forthcoming about the incident, staff members at The Star have revealed the cause of the late night assault.
The incident that occurred on Friday night followed The Star’s staff Christmas party, where they had announced that Damian would take over a position in the company that both he and his attacker had been working toward.
Although wanting to comment, the sources, who are employees at The Star, would like to remain anonymous.
